J & The Causeways will celebrate the music and cultural impact of Elton John with a special, New Orleans-tinged tribute show on May 2nd at Toulouse Theatre

The Meters, the iconic New Orleans funk band that defined the sound of a city for generations to come, will reunite for one night only on Saturday, May 2nd at The Saenger Theatre.

This show will feature all of the surviving original members of The Meters — Zigaboo Modeliste on drums, George Porter Jr. on guitar, and Leo Nocentelli on guitar — alongside long time band member, Cyril Neville, on vocals and percussion, and Ivan Neville, nephew to founding keys player Art Neville, on keys and organ.

The Heavyweights — the new supergroup trio from Cory Henry, Eric Krasno, and Robert ‘Sput’ Searight — will make their New Orleans debut on Friday, May 1st at The Joy Theater with special guest Oteil Burbridge joining them throughout the evening.

Help On The Way, a supergroup curated by Eric Krasno (Soulive, Lettuce) and Ross James (Phil Lesh, Terrapin Family Band), finds itself at the intersection of the Grateful Dead and New Orleans funk. The lineup features venerable icons like Oteil Burbridge (Dead & Company, Allman Brothers Band), descendants of legends, Grahame Lesh (Graheme Lesh & Friends, Midnight North) and Ivan Neville (Dumpstaphunk), or core members of the Jazz Fest funk community like Nikki Glaspie (The Nth Power, Snarky Puppy) and Steve Watkins (Allen Stone).

Stanton Moore & Friends return to Toulouse Theatre for their annual Fest By Nite afterparty. Stanton, the celebrated drummer of iconic New Orleans band, Galactic, will be joined by “Friends” and frequent collaborators, Robert Walter, Will Bernard, Big Sam, and Skerik.

TYCHO:ISO50 fuses two sides of Scott Hansen’s creative work — the lush, cinematic soundscapes of Tycho and the iconic graphic design of ISO50, which has come to define Tycho’s aesthetic universe.
