Progressive-jam titans Umphrey’s McGee will return to Miami Beach for the first time in two years when they bring their Cruising Altitude 2025 Tour to Miami Beach Bandshell on Saturday, May 31st.

The Adam Deitch Quartet
The Adam Deitch Quartet will once again close out Jazz Fest weekend with a Fest By Nite show on Sunday, May 4th at Toulouse Theatre. The band features the celebrated, genre-defying drummer Adam Deitch of Lettuce and Break Science, alongside his Lettuce bandmates Ryan Zoidis (saxaphone) and Eric “Benny” Bloom (trumpet), and renowned Hammond B3 organ player, Wil Blades.

The Funk Sessions returns to New Orleans, LA's Toulouse Theatre for a late-night blowout on Saturday, May 3rd (technically early a.m. 5/4). Don’t miss this special show with Lettuce’s Adam Deitch, Adam “Shmeeans” Smirnoff, and Jesus Coomes alongside the one and only Skerik.

Innovative Rap-Cabaret pioneer Boyfriend will bring her annual Jazz Fest show with members of The Revivalists back to New Orleans for Jazz Fest 2025! Don’t miss this special show on Saturday, May 3rd at Toulouse Theatre.

Crescent City Classics: A Celebration Of New Orleans Funk
Crescent City Classics is a celebration of New Orleans Funk music. This year’s edition will feature local music royalty like The Meters bassist George Porter Jr. and The Meters/Neville Brothers mainstay Cyril Neville (vocals, percussion); Dumpstaphunk torch-bearers Ivan Neville (keys, vocals), Ian Neville (guitar), Tony Hall (bass, guitar, vocals), Deven Trusclair (drums), Alex Wasily (trombone), and Brad Walker (saxophone); Lettuce bandmates Adam Deitch (drums), Adam “Shmeeans” Smirnoff (guitar), Eric “Benny” Bloom (trumpet), and Ryan Zoidis (saxophones); contemporary New Orleans go-getters like Galactic’s Jelly Joseph (vocals), The Rumble’s Andriu Yanovski (keys), and teenage prodigy River Eckert (keys); and decorated guitarist, Eric Krasno.

Mike Gordon (bassist and co-founder of the seminal improvisational rock band Phish) returns to New Orleans on Friday, May 2nd for a show with his latest line-up at The Joy Theater. His sixth solo LP Flying Games is filled with constant and wildly hypnotic movement, each moment animated by unexpected sounds that morph and expand and spin off into their own strange orbits, revealing entirely new dimensions of the kaleidoscopic musicianship he’s displayed as a bassist for the last four decades. Gordon will be supported by Karina Rykman on this date.

BTTRFLY Quintet ft. Dominicki Lalli, Adam Deitch, Borham Lee, Eric "Benny" Bloom & Hunter Roberts
BTTRFLY Quintet is the brainchild of Dominic Lalli of Big Gigantic and Adam Deitch & Borham Lee of Break Science, along with Break Science Live Band members Eric “Benny” Bloom (Lettuce) and Hunter Roberts. They will make their New Orleans debut on Friday, May 2nd at Toulouse Theatre.

Stanton Moore & Friends ft. Robert Walter, Skerik, Will Bernard & Big Sam
Stanton Moore (Galactic) will bring his Stanton & Friends show back to Toulouse Theatre for the third straight year during Jazz Fest, on Thursday, May 1st, 2025. Moore uses this show to showcase his solo material, as well as his musical relationships with some of his most frequent collaborators.
This year’s edition of Stanton & Friends will feature Robert Walter (keys), Skerik (saxaphone), Will Bernard (guitar), and Big Sam (trombone).

A Dream We Dreamed: A New Orleans Tribute To Phil Lesh
A Dream We Dreamed: A New Orleans Tribute To Phil Lesh, will take place on Thursday, May 1st at The Joy Theater. The show will feature artists from across the spectrum of improvisational music coming together to pay their respects to one of the architects of the community, Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead, who sadly passed away in late 2024.
The show will feature a wide variety of artists who all had musical relationships with Phil Lesh, or were inspired by his playing and his unique spirit

Purple Party: A Tribute To Prince returns to New Orleans for the 6th Jazz Fest in a row! This late night celebration of the one and only Prince will feature all six members of The Motet, alongside the core members of Cool Cool Cool, and more. The show will once again be fronted by Casey Russell of the Magic Beans, and will take place on Saturday, April 26th (technically early AM 4/27) at Toulouse Theatre.

The beloved Fest By Nite tradition, Worship My Organ, returns to New Orleans with a new lineup in 2025! Ivan Neville (Dumpstaphunk) and Robert Walter (Greyboy All-Stars, Mike Gordon) will go head to head on B3 Hammond Organs, backed by Adam Deitch on drums (Lettuce, Break Science) and Skerik (Les Claypool’s Flying Frog Brigade) on saxophone.
