Crescent City Classics: A Celebration Of New Orleans Funk will take place at The Joy Theater on Saturday, May 4th!

This show will bring an all-star cast of funk musicians together to pay homage to the vibrant lineage of music that's at the core of the Crescent City, as we celebrate the 55th anniversary of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

The band will feature members of The Meters, Dumpstaphunk, Lettuce & more. The full artist lineup is:

  • George Porter Jr. & Cyril Neville from The Meters

  • Ivan Neville, Tony Hall, Ian Neville, Alex Wasily & Deven Trusclair of Dumpstaphunk

  • Adam Deitch, Adam "Shmeeans" Smirnoff, Eric "Benny" Bloom, and Ryan Zoidis of Lettuce

  • Eric Krasno, Erica Falls, and John "Papa" Gros


Eric Krasno & Ian Neville will serve as Musical Directors for this one-of-a-kind show.
